The morning session was great. Very interesting and informative. A view shared by my colleagues. I would be interested in building our knowledge of this as part of my staff development programme and will view your brochure with interest
Reshma Khan, Student Services, Bradford University

The session was fantastic, and all the team thoroughly enjoyed it and got so much out of it, they all agree that Fiona was great with them, and kept it fun and interesting throughout.
Helen Shaw, Butlins, Skegness

I have just had time to look at the evaluations which were extremely good. Content and presentation were rated excellent by 70% of attendees with 20% in the "very good" category and 10% good. The comments were as follows: Very helpful presentation, enlightening. Thank you! Very good course. Best course in a long time.
Wendy Bellis, Assistant Clinical Director and Specialist Senior Paediatric Dental Officer for NHS Islington

We really enjoyed the taster course and then the longer 6-week course with John. This training has been invaluable in giving our deaf volunteers First Aid training in sign language.
Valerie May, British Red Cross, Paisley

Fantastic session with Charlie yesterday, it was a really good day and the team really enjoyed the training.
Ben Haller, National Media Museum, Bradford

Very well received.  For most, it was a learning experience actually interacting and working with a person who is visually impaired. Nothing but good reports – thanks again.
Mike Calladine, Training Officer, Gedling Borough Council

Thanks for last week I really enjoyed the course – so much so that I have bought a couple of books on basic sign language (just second hand off the internet).  I am doing a degree as well as working full time so can't commit to doing another proper course at the moment, but I would really like to take this further and perhaps look at being an interpreter in the future.
Jo Farragher, Acute and Cancer Care, Harrogate District Hospital

We had two sessions for learning support staff at the college and Christine was fantastic. After both sessions on Equality and Diversity in the morning and Disability Awareness in the afternoon, our learning support staff felt they could better meet the needs of all of our students.
Maureen Beale, Sparsholt College, Hampshire

Hi Fozia, it was fantastic.  We all loved it and we learned so much.  Need to practice though!
Clare Stone, St Giles School, Milton Keynes

We have over 4000 staff at the Swindon sorting office, some of whom are deaf or hearing impaired. We found this course extremely useful for both our managers and the staff who needed the extra support from us. We looked forward to seeing Adrienne our tutor every week.
Sandy Best, Royal Mail Manager, Swindon

Great course today. Unfortunately we were oversubscribed - usually when we organise courses we have a large drop off rate and consequently invite more people than we know will usually come. Today everyone turned up! There must be more of a need for it than we thought. Your tutor was very professional and delivered a really interactive course and included everyone - his resources are very good too. I'll email you the photos shortly. Thank you so much for arranging the course.
Chris Graham, Centre Co-ordinator, Safety First Community Training Centre, Bradford

I attended a course in Brighton yesterday run by Signs4Life and just wanted to say it was one of the best courses I have been in a long time, very informative with a lot of practical help.
Bel Newbound, Facilities Manager, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

The morning Makaton session was great. Very interesting and informative. A view shared by our health and social care students. Thankyou Fozia!
Michelle O'Connor, Haydon School, Hillingdon

All the staff thoroughly enjoyed the 6-week tailored sign language course with Janet. We now feel we can really help our deaf customers with all of their eyecare needs having learnt signs relevant for optical staff. And we've made the local paper! Thankyou again.
Salma Kamaluddin, Specsavers, Northwich

A really enjoyable course, we now feel better equipped in the community when fitting fire alarms for disabled people
Melanie Walker, Community engagement, Humberside Fire

A really useful and insightful Makaton workshop with Michelle. Thankyou.
Janet Lewis, Barnardo's, Banbury

One of the best courses I have been on. Both myself and my colleague who attended your open course at York Guild Hall really feel we can use the knowledge gained to improve the service that we provide.
Jill Harper, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service, York

A fantastic course. This course has really complemented our existing knowledge in equality & disability and meeting the needs of all our students.
Elspeth Mackie, Leeds College of Art, Leeds

Thankyou for organizing this for our carers, everyone felt it was a great morning and are looking forward to the next course with you!
Wendy Turner, Families Together, Cheshire

We feel we can better understand and support staff and service users with mental health needs. Teresa was really informative and drew on her own life experiences which we found really helpful. Thankyou again.
Jacqueline Allen, Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health Trust

I thank you on behalf of the Squadron for doing this. You will not know how much it has meant to us. It has provided the cadets with the chance to learn a new skill which in the future will enable them to communicate with a greater range of people with a lot more confidence.
Martyn Marsh (Sgt), Air Cadets, Whitby Squadron

Please pass on our thanks to John. All of our radio lollipop volunteers enjoyed the workshop very much, brilliant feedback all round.
Sandra Bonner, Yorkhill Children's Hospital, Glasgow

A brilliant session with Margaret, our care workers now feel they can better meet the needs of all of our residents
Andrea Brown, Anchor Care Homes, Gillingham

Three members of our staff attended your open course at Salford Town Hall. We now feel that as an organization we can better meet the needs of all of our tenants
Jennifer Brettle, Manchester Jewish Housing Association

We have regular deaf customers who shop with us, and having completed your tailored course for supermarkets we have had an influx of the local deaf community shopping with us. Word has got round so we must be doing well!
Laura Grey, Asda, Linwood, Scotland
